EXPERIENCE: 34 years in military service: instructor pilot, combat pilot in Vietnam, U-2 pilot, held staff and senior staff positions, served as Air Attaché and Defense Attaché at two U.S. Embassies (The Hague, Netherlands and Quito, Ecuador). After retiring from the USAF, returned to California and started a consulting business, "Perfect Changes", which helped senior citizens relocate to retirement facilities. Began volunteering for the Capitola Police Department, and in 2005, became coordinator for the "Volunteers In Police Service" (VIPS), a position he still holds today. |
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: Besides being married to the most wonderful woman in this world, he loves to sail his boat, "Thirteen" in Monterey Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and play golf almost anywhere he can--albeit, not very well. |
