Our Mission
The Capitola Public Safety and Community Service Foundation is organized for
the public purpose of assisting the Capitola Police Department and its community partners to enhance public safety through the promotion of community oriented policing and problem solving programs, Crime Reduction Initiatives, and community outreach/education efforts within the City of Capitola.

Our Story
The Capitola Public Safety and Community Service Foundation is an independent non-profit charitable corporation, which was founded by Police Chief Richard Ehle and Capitola Businessman Christian Thompson in 2005.  The corporation is organized for the public purpose of assisting the Capitola Police Department and its community policing partner agencies in improving quality of life within Capitola. read more
